If your healthcare provider wishes to record your video session, you will receive an alert at the top of your screen, letting you know that the meeting is being recorded.
You will have the option to either:
- Continue, if you do consent to the recording, or
- Leave Call, if you do not consent to the recording
If my video meeting was recorded, how long are recordings kept?
Recordings are usually kept as per the requirements for each clinic, the default requirement being seven (7) years; however this can be changed, if needed. Recordings are stored within the platform and are located on secure servers within Canada.
