Step 1 - Navigate to the 'Meetings' screen from either:
- The 'Home' tab, then 'Meet Now', or
- The 'Meet Now' tab
Step 2 - Click 'Start Video Meeting'.
Step 3 - Review the information, then set your camera and microphone for when you enter the video call:
When ready, click 'Next'
Step 4 - You will be prompted to 'Allow' your camera and microphone for this website. Click 'Allow' for each. (Your prompt may vary from the images shown).
Do not click 'Block' for either of these prompts or you will not have audio or video in your video session.
Step 5 - Click 'Send Invitation via SMS'.
Or you can choose from any of the email options:
When using 'Send Invitation via SMS':
- Enter a message to the invitee (max 30 characters).
- Tap 'Next'.
- Manually enter the participant's mobile phone number.
- If inviting more than one person, click '+Add Another' and add their mobile phone number(s).
- Select 'Yes' if you are currently on a phone call with your patient/participant.
When ready, tap 'Send Invitations'.
You will see a banner at the top of your screen, telling you that the invitation(s) sent successfully.
Step 7 - Once the invitation has been sent to participant(s), wait for them to arrive. As they do, either 'Admit' or 'Decline' them.
- For a participant who attempts to join and then leaves before being admitted, this prompt will disappear after approximately 30 seconds. If the host clicks the 'Admit' button within that 30 seconds, they will receive a message, "Name} might be experiencing issues joining the call."
- If that is the case, when the meeting host clicks the 'Participant's' tab at the bottom of their video screen, they can see that users attempted to join but are no longer waiting.
Anyone you decline will receive the following message.
