Upload a Photo/File
Step 1 - Select the camera/document icon located on the lower-left of the screen below the 'Message' field.
Step 2 - Use one of the three options available to upload a file.
Ensure you are uploading one of the supported file formats listed - !
If you do attempt to upload an unsupported file format, you will get the message 'The file format is not supported'.
You will see a preview of the file you are uploading - either the photo or the document/video name. When ready, click 'Send' and your file will appear in the message window.
Blur/Unblur Photos
Feature of Lumeca 'GO' Clinics only: If you have 'Blur photos in chat' checked ON under 'Account > Settings', the photo will appear blurred. To unblur, click 'Unblur Photo'. The image may be blurred again, if needed, by clicking 'Blur Photo'.
Upload a Document or Video
After being uploaded, the file name will appear in your message chat area and under 'Files' along the right-hand side of your screen. Participants will have to downloaded the file to their device before it can be viewed.
Download a File
Either:
- Click on the file name in the Chat message box, or
- Under 'Files', click on the [...] next to a file name, then 'Download' an individual file, or
- Under 'Files', choose 'Download All' to download multiple attached files. The files will be compressed into a .zip file containing the multiple files, which will need to be 'Extracted'.
Unsend a File
Either:
- In the Chat message box, hover over a photo, document name or video name you shared and tap 'Unsend Message'. Add a 'Reason', then confirm by clicking 'Unsend Message', OR
- Under 'Files', click on the [...] next to a file name, then tap 'Unsend'. Add a 'Reason', then confirm by clicking 'Unsend Message'.
Re-send a File
Either:
- In the Chat message box, hover over a photo, document name or video name you previously unsent and tap 'Show Message'. Confirm by clicking 'Resend Message', OR
- Under 'Files', click on the [...] next to a file name, then tap 'See Original Message'. You will jump to the original location of the unsent message. Hover over the unsent message and tap 'Show Message'. Confirm by clicking 'Resend Message'.
