Clinical users can initiate or join messages with others.
- These conversations operate independently from virtual meetings and patient consultations.
- Invited participants will have access to the entire chat history and all files shared.
- Participants may join a video call started from within the message.
Participants must be invited to a message to join it. This may include:
- Users with registered Lumeca accounts, or
- Invited guests of your choice (typically people from outside of your organization). Invited guests must create an account and will only have access to messages they have been added to. They cannot start new messages, nor can they archive messages.
It is highly recommended that invited participants turn on their account 'Notifications' (under Account > Notifications) so they are informed when:
- They are added to a message
- They are removed from a message
- Messages they participate in are archived
