If your healthcare provider is seeing you in a 'patient consultation', you must:
- Accept the invitation to join/register with their clinic, and
- Create a 'Lumeca Health' account, if you do not already have one
You can be invited in one of the following ways:
Option 1: A Link in an Email and/or SMS Text Message - Using Your Existing Account
Option 2: A Link in an Email and/or SMS Text Message - Creating a New Account
Option 3: With a 6-digit 'Invite Code' given to you by the Clinic

Option 1: A Link in an Email or SMS Text Message - Using Your Existing Account
Using the Link in the Email:
Step 1 - Under #3 in the email, click ‘Accept Invitation’.
Step 2 - Log into your account using the email address and password you used when creating your account.
Step 3 - If prompted, click ‘Accept Invitation’ and you will be joined with the clinic as a virtual patient.
Using the Link in the SMS Text Message:
Step 1 - You will be directed to App Store for Apple products or the Google Play Store for android products. Download the 'Lumeca Health' APP.

Step 2 - Once downloaded, click ‘Open’ from the APP Store.

Step 3 - Log into your account using the email address and password you used when creating your account.
Step 4 - If prompted, click ‘Accept Invitation’ and you will be joined with the clinic as a virtual patient.
Option 2: A Link in an Email or SMS Text Message - Creating a New Account
Using the Link in the Email:
Step 1 - Under #1 in the email, click either,
- The ‘App Store’ button and download ‘Lumeca Health’ (Apple mobile devices)
- The ‘Google Play Store’ button and download ‘Lumeca Health’ (Android mobile devices, i.e. Samsung, etc.)
- Tap ‘website’ (using any device), then click ‘Continue on Web’ (if this screen appears)
The Login / Create New Account Screen:
- Using the APP, click 'Sign Up'
- Using the WEB, click ‘Create Account’

The 'Account Information' Screen:
Step 1 - You must complete all fields:

- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Gender
- A unique secure password, completing all password requirements
- Check that you have read & agree with the ‘Terms’ and ‘Privacy Policy’
- Check that you agree to the ‘Consent Form’
Step 2 - Click ‘Continue’.
'Email Verification Screen & Email #2:
You will now receive a second email which provides a ‘Confirmation Code’ to verify your email address. (If you do not receive the 2nd email, in either your Inbox, Spam or Junk folders, you may click ‘Re-send Confirmation Code’ on the ‘Email Verification’ screen.)
Step 3 - There are two ways to enable the ‘Confirmation Code’ (both options do the same thing):
- Bypass the ‘Email Verification’ screen and simply click the ‘here’ hyperlink within the email, OR
- Manually enter the ‘Confirmation Code’ provided in the email onto the ‘Email Verification’ screen, then click ‘Confirm’.
Step 4 - You will be taken into the platform. If prompted, click ‘Accept Invitation’ on the ‘Home’ screen.
'Pre-Consultation Checklist' - Scroll down and complete all information to 100%, if not already completed.
You are now part of your healthcare provider's virtual clinic and can be seen for virtual appointments with them. Call the clinic to book appointments or if you have any other questions.
Option 3: With a 6-digit 'Invite Code' Given to You by the Clinic
Step 1 - Go to the ‘Login’ screen:

Step 3 - Click ‘Join a Clinic/Enter Invite Code’ on the ‘Home’ screen.

Step 4 - Enter the code provided to you into the 'Invite Code' field, then click 'Submit'. After the code is validated, select 'Continue'.
Step 5 - 'Pre-Consultation Checklist' - Scroll down and complete all information to 100%, if not already completed.
You are now part of your healthcare provider's virtual clinic and can be seen for virtual appointments with them. Call the clinic to book appointments or if you have any other questions.
Note: Once you create your account and join the clinic you are invited to, the links or the 'Invite Code' provided to you in the email will no longer be necessary or function properly. Going forward, to access the account login screen, either:
- Open the 'Lumeca' app (if you have downloaded it), OR
- Go to https://lumecaapp.com/app/?screen=login on the web
- Login with the email address and password you used to create your account
