Patients must FIRST be invited to join their healthcare provider's virtual clinic as a virtual patient. They should receive an 'invitation email/text' or 'invite code' from the clinic.

The following users must set up a Lumeca Health account:
- Patients who are being seen virtually by their healthcare provider with a 'patient consultation'.
- Guests (family members, caregivers, other healthcare providers), who are invited by a patient to join their 'patient consultation'.
Patients/participants who are invited to a 'video meeting' do not require a Lumeca Health account, as they simply join using a meeting link, ID and Passcode.
Step 1 - Download the APP or use the WEB -

Download the Lumeca Health APP using the applicable link in the email.

Step 2 - Log in or create your account
To create an account:

On the APP: Click Sign Up |
On the WEB: Click Create Account |
Step 3 - Choose the account type Patient.
Step 4 - You will be asked whether or not you currently have a SK Virtual Visit account. Select No.
Step 5 - You will be directed to the first Account Creation screen where you must complete all fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Click Next.
You will next be directed to the second Account Creation screen where you must complete all fields:
- Enter a valid email address (family email addresses may only be used for one user’s account, as they are used as account identifiers)
- Create a unique, secure password that meets all password requirements
- Check that you have read & agree with the Terms and Privacy Policy
- Check that you agree to the Consent Form
- Click Continue.
Step 6 - The ‘Email Verification’ screen –
After you complete the Account Creation screens, you will receive a second email which provides a Confirmation Code to verify your email address. (If you do not receive the 2nd email in either your Inbox, Spam or Junk folders, click Re-send Confirmation Code on the ‘Email Verification’ screen.)
There are two ways to enable the Confirmation Code (both options do the same thing):
- Bypass the Email Verification screen and simply click the here hyperlink within this 2nd email, or
- Manually enter the Confirmation Code provided in this 2nd email onto the Email Verification screen, then click Confirm.
Step 7 - You will be directed into the Lumeca Health platform. If prompted, click Accept Invitation and you will now be joined with the clinic.
Step 8 - Complete your 'Pre-Consultation Checklist' to 100%.

Step 8 - After you have reached 100%, complete your Profile information.
- APP on mobile device: Along the bottom navigation bar, click Profile.
- WEB on any device: From the left navigation bar, select Account, then Profile.
