You may add additional participants from within an active message.
Step 1 - When in your active message, tap 'View Participants', then tap on 'Invite Participant'.
Step 2 - Add Participants - You may search for and invite one or multiple participants to this new chat message. You may find them in a couple of ways:
- Type their name into the 'Participant Name' field. As you start to type, suggestions will populate in the list. You may also narrow your search by adding filters, such as 'Clinic name', 'Location', 'Job Title' and/or 'Role', OR...
- Scroll up the screen until you locate the participant(s) you wish to add, then tap on the checkbox
beside their name.
FYI:
- Users listed will be those who are registered Lumeca account holders and your invited guests who have accepted their invitation from you and created a Lumeca 'Guest' account.
- Invited participants will have access to the entire chat history and all files shared.
- Invited guests will only have access to messages they have been added to. They cannot start new messages, nor can they archive messages.
- You may also add additional participants to an active message later.
Step 3 - When you check beside the participants' names, their names will start to appear underneath the filters.
To 'Remove' a selected participant here before starting your new message, tap the 'X' beside their name.
Step 4 - The 'Add Participants' button will be greyed out until you choose one or more participants to invite. When your participants' list is ready, tap 'Add Participants'.
You will be returned to your message window, where you will now see that your new participant has been added. To close this menu, simultaneously tap and swipe up on the screen.
