It's important that you are notified about the 'Messages' that you are involved in. This could include the following:
- When you are added to a Message session
- When a Message session that you are a part of is archived by the message creator or Host
- When you are removed from a Message session
When you log into the Lumeca application for the very first time, you will be prompted to set up and allow for notifications to be sent to your device. Be sure to tap on the appropriate selections.
If you do not enable or allow for these settings, you will not be notified of the above situations, which may result in missed Message sessions. You can still enable them by following these steps.
Step 1 - From the 'Home' Screen', navigate to the bottom right corner and tap on 'Menu', then tap on 'Permission Settings'.
Step 2 - To enter your device's 'Settings' app , tap on 'Not Allowed' under 'Notifications', or simply tap on 'Go to Device Settings'.
Step 3 - When in the 'Settings' screen for Lumeca, tap on 'Notifications', then on 'Allow Notifications'. You can also customize how you want the notifications to appear on your device. When you are ready, exit this screen to return to the Lumeca app.
Step 4 - You can now see that your notifications have been enabled or allowed. You may also enable your Camera and Microphone permissions from this screen by following the same instructions.
